Was einst als kreatives Vater-Tochter-Projekt während der Corona-Zeit begann, entwickelt sich weiter: CHILLIJIL® veröffentlicht „Friends" – einen neuen Song gemeinsam mit dem Berliner Sänger und Künstler Fatih Alas. Entstanden aus dem gemeinsamen Kunstprojekt „Capturing Emotions", verbindet der Track elektronische CHILLIJIL®-Ästhetik mit echter Stimme, direkter Emotion und einer ungewöhnlich modernen Entstehungsgeschichte. Der Gesang wurde live in Berlin eingesungen, per WhatsApp übermittelt – Lars Kommer baute daraus die finale CHILLIJIL®-Produktion. Lyrics und Grundstruktur stammen von Christoph Herbig und Fatih Alas / Fatih Alasarvoroglu. Bereits der nächste gemeinsame Titel „Wanted" befindet sich in der Endphase.

How it started
Every art has its story – ours began when I had to close my previously successful metal goods factory due to high container prices during Corona. For the first time in my life I didn't know what to do with my free time here in the Swiss mountains.
So at the same time as the advent of AI, I started to get to grips with creating digital art. Jil was immediately on fire and enthusiastic about learning. We are musical and have a talent for melody and lyrics – but we can't sing. No way. 😄
I therefore created a tool for converting text into song. This AI-supported software is based on our language model. Every song contains something of us – even if we naturally alienate and adapt it. We attach great importance to our lyrics, regardless of the language. Some are profound, ambiguous or have a personal background.
