The story
From Wildhaus
to the world
CHILLIJIL® began during the pandemic, after Lars had to close his metal-goods company because exploding international container costs made the business unsustainable. In that unexpected pause, he began exploring digital art, music technology and artificial intelligence. Jil immediately joined him.
The family experiment quickly became a serious creative project. Jil brought themes, lyrics, melodies and a young point of view; Lars developed the production process and turned ideas into finished recordings and visual worlds. Their work remains human-led: AI is one instrument inside a broader hybrid process of writing, performance, arrangement, editing, sound design and mastering.
Since Jil's first releases and public DJ appearance in 2024, CHILLIJIL® has grown from a home studio in Toggenburg into an international project. Their music has reached radio, playlists and live audiences in Switzerland, Thailand and India.
They created stage visuals and social content for Enigma – Original Voices, signed releases connected with Sick Dance L.A. and Sony Music, and became role models and jury members for the Swiss lernKI.ch campaign supported by Microsoft and the Swiss government.
